Seems to me that Twitter has the capability to spread news like a list serve, however there is no longer the need for an administrator to add its subscribers. I see huge marketing and news sharing potential, as it reaches a target audience quickly for no charge. This replaces mailing lists and reaches a large audience with just a mouse click, regardless where the readers of tweets are right now. Great resource!!!
